# Cloud devices

> Launch virtual or physical cloud devices for test creation and debugging

Cloud devices give you instant access to mobile devices directly in the browser for building and debugging tests.

## Device options

MobileBoost provides a large configuration of devices across two categories:

* **Virtual devices**: emulators and simulators hosted by MobileBoost, available for both Android and iOS
* **Physical devices**: real hardware hosted and managed by MobileBoost, available on demand

Both virtual and physical devices support unique capabilities including:

* **Audio input and output**: test voice interactions, media playback, and audio-driven flows
* **Offline mode** (iOS virtual devices): simulate network loss to test offline behavior

## Device farm integrations

In addition to MobileBoost-hosted devices, you can connect your existing device farm accounts:

* **BrowserStack**
* **Sauce Labs**

This lets you run tests on your preferred infrastructure while still using the MobileBoost test editor and recorder.

## Supported configurations

A wide range of device models and OS versions are available. You can select the target device and OS version when launching a cloud device session from QA Studio.
